- The color of the butterfly itself can be selected, however the white butterfly will show all the colors of the RC light at equal brightness and vibrance
- If a non-white RC butterfly is selected, we recommend using the white light on the remote to showcase the color of the butterfly most brightly and accurately
- The Non-RC light has about 40 hours of continuous battery life and uses two CR2032 batteries (included). The RC light has a 20 hour continuous battery life
- Twist the cap of the light on the bottom to turn it on and off
- The RC light has a twist switch to activate the light. Turn clockwise to turn it on, and counter clockwise to turn it off. The light must be activated to use the remote commands.

- For the remote control option, as the battery approaches the end of its life, you may notice that the light becomes less responsive to remote commands. This is a natural behavior, and it serves as a reminder that it's time to replace the batteries. When you observe this behavior, simply replace the batteries (the light takes two CR2032), and your remote-controlled light will be ready to illuminate with vibrant colors once again.
- Additionally, if you ever find that you're not using the remote light for a long period of time, it is advised to remove the batteries in the light, otherwise the batteries will continue to drain even when not illuminated.
- The remote uses infrared signals, not radio signals
- The remote controlled (RC) light can stay on the color of your choosing or cycle through all the colors smoothly with the 'Fade' mode. It also has the modes 'Flash' (flashes the same color), 'Strobe' (cycles through the colors with no smooth transition), and 'Smooth' which does the same thing as 'Strobe'
- Multiple RC lights nearby each other will follow the same remote control command
